We bring modern equine dental care to the comfort and
convenience of your barn.
In the slide show below, you will see several highlights of our set-up:
- With the benefit of a sedative dose adjusted to your horse's temperament,
the patient rests their head in a padded halter.
- An oral speculum, with attached light source, holds the patient's mouth open,
allowing us to feel and see each tooth safely and thoroughly. Our magnetized light source also allows us to step away and let you have a close up view for yourself. Our commitment to client education really shines at this step!
- The work itself is performed with a cordless, power-driven float. The flat grinding disc has a fully guarded circumference, protecting the soft tissues inside the mouth.
- Finally, the efficiency of our set up allows us to serve several horses during one visit.
You can see the Chestnut patient resting after his procedure while we have moved on to treat the Roan.
